"I can honestly say this is one of the most relaxing, enjoyable holidays I have ever experienced! The location in a small hamlet in the French countryside is enchanting with a nearby artist, free-range chickens and numerous pathways providing walks in every direction. The hosts, Ian and Sara, were friendly and welcoming, eager to assist and socialise but never overstepping the boundaries so we felt we had the space to relax in the lovely seating areas they had built in both sun and shade. The accommodation was really comfortable and fully equipped - we had our own little eating area outside where we breakfasted on the croissants Ian collected for us from the village. We struggled to leave the gardens and courtyard but it was worth the effort to see the local towns like Sarlat and Le Bugue, the caves with their prehistoric drawings, the markets, festivals, castles and rivers. The more I recall, the more I yearn to go back! Thanks to Ian and Sara for letting us share their idyllic setting!"
